Ron Rasmussen, Vice-Chair
Ron Rasmussen is a former USAF officer and Air Force "brat" as well. As a result, Ron has lived outside the United States four times, thus producing a strong national security focus. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Portland, and believes in the power of the business sector to uplift the lives of millions.
Ron also co-founded Hand Up Project, a Portland-based 501-c-3 non-profit organization focused on feeding the homeless, and served on the board during 2016-2023. He chaired the Vancouver Mall Neighborhood Association during 1997-2003, and also served as a Republican PCO during that same period of time. Ron's values are social cohesion, civil society, personal responsibility, and the culture of mutual respect.
Carolyn Crain, Secretary
As a lifelong Republican, Carolyn has wide political campaign experience. From advocating for changes to healthcare coverages, issues related to children, seniors and disabled individuals, she has been a volunteer citizen lobbyist since she was 17 years old. She is proud of her support for businesses, testifying at government levels of city, county and the state.
Carolyn is a Congressional and State Legislative watchdog running the website known as Olympia Watch. She also keeps close tabs on our Supreme Courts, both federal and state.
Having been a candidate herself, her understanding of the system reaches to the insides of campaigning and she is frequently called upon for advice, especially regarding improving a candidate's ground game. She volunteers her time and talent to worthy candidates at the Congressional level, the State level and occasionally even the local level.
